Kiran Marak grew up watching his parents juggle long workdays with the daily chaos of running a household. In Mumbai's fast-moving life, he saw families struggling to find honest, trained help — and he saw thousands of women looking for dignified, fair-paying work. The two sides simply weren't meeting.
In 2009, Kiran set out to fix that. He founded Apna Maid Agency with one rule: every person we send into a family's home must be background-verified, trained, and treated with respect. No shortcuts.
What began with a single placement in Andheri has grown into a network of 500+ trained maids, cooks, nannies and caregivers serving 10,000+ Mumbai families across Bandra, Powai, Thane, Borivali, Chembur and beyond.
Today, Kiran still personally reviews onboarding standards and speaks with families to make sure every placement meets the promise he started with — "a maid you can trust like family."
